Our Recovery and Families services are confidential and the privacy and safety of the people we partner are our highest priority. This section will cover our programmes and groups and our journey as we expereince them together.
All Pou Whakaaro services are now operating from 1 Bracken Street, Whakatane.
Pou Whakaaro provides support to people with disabilities, mental health issues, and/or addictions to achieve their goals, gain independence and inclusion within their chosen community.
ON THE HORIZON
Pou Whakaaro House is starting on an exciting adventure within our community to create a space that will be the local hub for a wide range of community events, groups and activities.
The Community Centre will be run by a fantastic team of staff and volunteers.
Pou Whakaaro already operates a number of services, events, workshops, and classes from our Bracken Street premises during the day, evenings. You can find our current classes here.
